Raised in a church on the east side of Texas, Michael came from a family of modest people. As nice as that was for them, he had no plans of keeping up that tradition. As early as he can remember, Michael was the class clown who saw school as the stage and his classmates as the audience, waiting to be entertained. His talent stretched further than comical banter and made its way to composing clever songs on guitar and piano, always finding new ways to make the people around him smile. After a 12-year stint as the funny man, he took on a more serious challenge, the Marines. Surprisingly, that serious side didn’t last long. He constantly found himself as the comedic relief in the military, looking to brighten the days of his brothers and sisters stuck in the mundane and high-stress environment. Although new to stand-up comedy, Michael is no stranger to the stage. He signed to a Christian music label in Nashville in 2012 and toured the country performing his music.

Now out of music and back in East Texas Michael aims to continue stand-up comedy, telling stories about love, loss, fatherhood, and growing up in a small town.
